The proprietor of Beckwith Galleries, Bernie Teklenburg is now 32 years in with extensive expertise and knowledge of quality Persian, Oriental, and Modern carpets as well as Antique/Vintage rugs and runners - and offers a complete range of services, including cleaning and repairs, personal services (appraisals and consultations) right in your home or office, and hassle-free pick-up and delivery. Bernie came to our home to look at a 10' X 12' Persian rug, now 50-plus years on, needing a little TLC, including cleaning, mending two worn spots, re-dying a couple of faded sections, and removing some candle melt. Following our discussion, Bernie removed the rug, and within two weeks the cleaning and repairs were done, and the rug was back in our home. Well, the rug looks spectacular, and the worn spots and the candle melt all turned out to look better than we could have hoped for! Subsequently, my wife and I visited Beckwith Galleries, where Bernie shared fascinating insights about the beautiful quality rugs he has on display.
