Bernardus Teklenburg of Beckwith Galleries really assisted us with St. Matthew's Church's recent online auction. We had received several carpets of different vintages and origins from different suppliers and really needed to have a realistic evaluation of their condition, origin and their value. Mr. Teklenburg exceeded our expectations with the thoroughness of his knowledge. He also provided us with some observations that really assisted us in the marketing of the carpets, all of which sold at prices similar to those he suggested. There has been such fluidity in carpet prices that it was valuable to have current assessments of value. He also totally surprised us by donating a few more items to our auction, all of which proved very popular.
