In Afghanistan, the city of Qundus is one of the oldest weaving centers in the country. They are known to weave carpets with very fine quality materials and precision. Traditionally, Afghan carpets come in a variety of signature designs, however, rugs weaved in this city have a finer weave and craftsmanship. They are not only durable for heavy traffic but easy to maintain and clean. Featured here is our Qundus rug with a Khal Mohammadi design.
